Warehousing
Cammack has built up an enviable reputation as a 'one stop' provider of transport, distribution and warehousing services. No job is too big or too small for Cammack to handle cost effectively.

Cammack has a 55,000 square feet modern warehousing facility located at the Earl's Colne Business Park. The warehouses are racked to accommodate palletised storage and are equipped with modern handling equipment, including container discharge ramps.

Cammack is capable of loading and unloading any configuration of truck or Container. The lift capacity using fork lift trucks is 7,000 Kilos and, where required, cranes can be arranged.

Each warehouse is fully alarmed and covered by 24 hour security. Our facilities are also suitable for the storage of food stuffs, and are regularly checked by Weights and Measures personnel.

Specialised warehouse services offered by N.C. Cammack and Son include:

Palletised storage
Groupage and consolidation
Break-bulk and pick and pack operations.
Container loading (including the professional chocking and bracing of cargo),
Devanning services (including an automatic manifest report/cargo survey on all cargo received).

Computerised Stock Control
Everything stored in the warehouse is monitored by 'Truck Business', a computerised stock control system, unique to N.C. Cammack and Son. This is particulary important when dealing with foodstuff and other perishable items.

Online Customer Access
One important feature of the 'Truck Business' system is that it allows Cammack customers to view their own stock records, print reports, plus monitor incoming and outgoing goods, online. It is also possible for clients to instruct Cammack when and where to deliver/collect consignments.
