N C Cammack’s own Blues Brothers fundraising mission for Prostate Cancer UK

Class 1 Driver, Simon Richards has been a part of the N C Cammack team for over 2 years.

In 2000 Simon lost his father to prostate cancer and a few years ago Simon was also diagnosed with the disease. Fortunately, having caught it early and after undergoing treatment, we are delighted to announce that Simon is currently in remission and he is undertaking a journey in order to raise money for the charity Prostate Cancer UK.

On 11th July 2018, Simon along with friend Dave Phillips and brother-in-law David Potter are taking part in the Rex to Nice rally, which runs from the pit lane of the Former F1 circuit in Reims, France and finishes four days later in Nice. Their aim is to raise £1000 for the charity and complete the rally in style. They will cross five countries, dressed as The Blues Brothers, in their X Type Jaguar, which will be kitted out as “The Bluesmobile”.

Prostate Cancer UK is a charity that funds ground-breaking research into the disease and provides vital support to those suffering from it. To support Simon and Co on their fundraising mission, and to read the full story, visit the Just Giving Fundraising page here.

We look forward to supporting Simon and the team on their race and will be sure to share an update of the event.
